NMDC Limited, formerly National Mineral Development Corporation, is an Indian public sector undertaking involved in the exploration of iron ore, copper, rock phosphate, limestone, dolomite, gypsum, bentonite, coal etc.,. It is India’s largest iron ore producer and exporter, producing more than 35 million tones of iron ore from three mechanized mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. The Board of Directors recommended NMDC Dividend 2024 Rs.5.75 per share (575%) of face value of Rs.1 each on equity shares of the Company. NMDC in its letter has informed the exchanges that it has fixed 27-02-2024 as the Record date. Consequently, the declared dividend will be paid to those members who hold shares in physical form or in electronic form and whose names appear in the Register of Members of the Company on Record Date.
Moreover, to receive dividend, you must have shares in your demat account on record date. Hence, you should buy shares before ex-dividend date. Note – If you buy shares on ex-dividend date, you will not be eligible to receive dividend and NMDC Dividend Rs.5.75 per share.
